The usafitnessequipment.com website is structured a bit differently from other fitness equipment websites...this to assist those searching for commercial grade fitness equipment items primarily.  We have structured the website to allow for owners, managers and representatives of facilities which utilize commercial fitness items to be able to shop by equipment type (treadmill, circuit, etc.), brand (SportsArt, Troy Barbell, etc.) and/or this last example which is very unique.  The last example allows all to search and shop with special filters in place...by facility type.  A few examples of this...

1.  A Strength and Conditioning Coach for a university can choose from the "Schools/Universities" category and only those items which are rated for full commercial/club will be listed.  This also insures that the purchaser has full warranty coverage from the manufacturer for their specific application.

2.  The General Manager of a hotel looking to equip a hotel fitness room can choose the "Hotel Fitness" category and be assured that all items are filtered (from light-commercial to full club quality in this example) with only applicable, warranteed items listed.

Many who are responsible for the purchase of light-commercial and commercial fitness equipment are not always "fitness people" and this form of shopping by facility type is very helpful in many ways.  It lessens the time the client searches and also minimizes (or removes) the possibilty of unintentionally purchasing items that would not carry a full warranty for the application.

Commercial fitness equipment purchasing can be a bit tricky, depending on the facility type.  The ability to search for items by facility type best insures the equipment purchased will serve the client well and by covered in all instances by the manufacturers warranty.  Some things to consider in budgeting and submitting for bids/proposals are:

1. Do the units have a full warranty for the facility type in which the items will be placed?

2. Will the chosen equipment be sufficient to last for a minimum timeline, on average?

3. Are the more expensive club versions warranted, based on usage...or...would institutional grade (light-commercial) suffice at a much lesser cost?
